CORINNA JANE

CORINNA JANE

Corinna Jane is a Franco-British singer-songwriter born in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany, but did most of her growing up in Northamptonshire, England and was fortunate enough to grow up speaking English, French and German. However, fed on a diet of 90s MTV, her biggest passion has always been music. She began to play tunes by ear on the piano as a child, before taking up piano and singing lessons at the age of five and began composing when she was six and subsequently establishing herself as a singer-songwriter in her teens; crafting her own brand of piano driven alternative pop rock.

Since then Corinna has enjoyed airplay on various radio stations including BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Pulse Rated and stations in Brazil, as well as being interviewed in German and playing live on Berlin’s RBB 1. She has graced the stage of New York’s oldest rock club “The Bitter End” and has also toured in Germany.

Back home in the UK, Corinna has joined forces with guitarist Luke Wood and together they have played over 60 gigs in the last year and toured extensively across the Midlands, London and parts of the North in venues such as The Bedford, Proud Camden, and The Alley Cat in London, The Yardbird (Birmingham) and The Musician (Leicester). In Summer 2014 they played festivals such as Lechlade, Lainfest, Wilkestock and Victorious Festival (headliners include Dizzee Rascall, Tom Odell and Razorlight).

In the past Corinna has worked with producers Jono Buchanan (West 4 Music: Annakin, Professor Penguin, Frank Turner, Game of Thrones) on “3 Seconds”, Stuart Anning (Mission Limited Publishing/Imagem) on “I Shall Be Free” and Becky Jerams (Northstar Publishing, DWB Music) and when she was seventeen she was invited to work with grammy award winning producer Fred Guarino in New York.

In July 2014, Corinna Jane made it into the TOP 5 Solo Artists category at the ROCK THE HOUSE Finals, which was voted for by a panel of industry specialists and took place at The House Of Commons.

Corinna is currently recording her album with a full band and production to be released later this year.

B YELLOW

B YELLOW

“Having been unofficially voted the ‘Best Smelling Band of 2014’ by any newspaper that you choose to read, we would like to thank you all for the nominations. It meant a lot. No, really… It meant a lot!

On a serious note, B Yellow is not a food chain, or a Zumba class, we are a 4 piece Folk’n’Roll band. 2014 not only marked the year that Man United were awful in the Premier League, but was also the start of a new era for us as we expanded from a duo to a full 5 piece band.

The band consists of ‘na na na’ Nathan ‘Wade’ Harrison on the Acoustic guitar and main vocals, Adam ‘Fingers’ Comer (enquire for pronounciation) on the Keyboard and backup vocals, Tim(othy) Fisher on the bass, bongos and doombar, and finally BT ‘Ninja’ Kennedy on the Drums.

B Yellow brings together the two styles of folk and rock to create Folk’n’Roll™. We are NOT inspired by bands like Iron Maiden or The Killers, but instead play originals inspired by artists like Mumford & Sons, Passenger or Seth Lakeman. We have three releases under our belt, a 4 track EP ‘Revolution’ , an 8 track album ‘Destiny’ and also a single titled ‘Shadows’ with which we worked with a very talented singer to record (excuse the cheesy names, but we like them). Sorry for the huge gap since any new releases have come out but the storyline for Coronation Street has been really good lately and we get carried away.

Whilst being mainly based in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas, we are very active in Reading, London TADLEY and pretty much any town that nobody has heard of. If you’ve not heard of it, We’ve gigged there! We haven’t gigged in Turkey yet but after a few tweets from a Turkish lass we want that day to come!

Thanks for your time in reading this and if you have made it this far you deserve free music so follow the links on our website!

B Yellow is the name, Folk’n’Roll is the game!”

JASMINE CROWE

JASMINE CROWEE

A classical violinist since age 3, Jasmine also had a natural talent for singing at 5. Influenced by pop music, broadway musicals, orchestral arrangements, and classic rock, she wrote her first song at 14. When she wasn’t performing in local musicals or the university orchestra, she was also jamming in rock bands with her fiddle. Having a voice of her own, she picked up the guitar at age 16 and also began songwriting on piano.

The only element missing was the backbeat. Josh had been playing drums in hard rock bands for years with his brother Adam on bass. Writing songs and looking for a project to get behind, when Jasmine and Josh met, they found they had much more than music in common – the chemistry was instant! Josh’s Bonham-influenced feel for drums combined with Jasmine’s melodic voice and use of strings developed their sound into a heavier, majestic backdrop for their pop songs.

Having moved from the Big Island of Hawai’i where Jasmine was born and raised, the songwriting team now resides in California where they are currently writing and producing in the studio.

CRASHGATE

CRASHGATEE

Craig Sheridan – Lead Vocals
Brian Andrews – Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Toby Dorman – Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Shaun Roche – Bass
Richard Keeler – Drums

If you feel a rumble under your feet more likely than experiencing an earth tremor, it will be melodic hard rockers Crashgate taking their attention grabbing sound to new corners of hungry intent and power. With a highly successful 2014 under their belt, the Kent based quintet now has new climates and successes in their sight; fresh explorations to be engaged in as they voraciously drive towards the creation and 2016 planned release of their second album.

The band is certainly no stranger to acclaim and increasingly intensive support, even in the early days of 2011 when the band emerged they were creating a buzz with a sound taking potent inspiration from bands such as Nickelback, Guns N’ Roses, and Black Stone Cherry. A few line-up changes came with those early times but once stability was found in personnel, Crashgate had already become a major part of their local rock scene. With a flair for aligning uncompromising riffs and dramatic rhythms to adventurous blends of melodic vocals and raw throat sculpted roars, all courted by an anthemic tenacity, the band was soon replicating their success and inescapable persuasion further afield, subsequently bursting in the national rock scene.

The release of the band’s first release, the “B.O.B” EP in 2012, sparked a new breath of intrigue and hunger for Crashgate’s increasingly potent sound, but it was with debut album “Crude Jokes, Death Notes & Unicorns” the following year where media attention was truly pricked into action. It was a keener spotlight upon them reinforced further by the band’s ferocious live presence which has seen then share stages with the likes of Feed The Rhino, Orestea, Malefice, Unearth, and Spirytus along the way. The release of the album led to the band gracing cover mounted CDs for Metal Hammer and Terrorizer magazines as well as garnering strong play and attention from online radio stations worldwide.

As much as the fascinating and creatively imposing sound which sets the band apart from a bustling British melodic rock scene, it is the passion of the band in all aspects and endeavours which has equally earned Crashgate a strong reputation. Add that to the fire breathing enterprise of guitarists Toby Dorman and Brian Andrews, the almost predatory talents of bassist Shaun Roche, the inventively honed swings of drummer Richard Keeler, and the mighty melodic bellow of vocalist Craig Sheridan, and you have the rigorously invigorating force that is Crashgate.

BURN DOWN RYDELL

Burn Down Rydell are an Alternative Rock band from
Wolverhampton,UK

Not much good usually comes from the midlands but BURN DOWN RYDELL are an exception! The band, made up of the uncompromising vocals and raw guitar provided by Andy Zmiko, thundering rhythmic bass by Iain Hodges, driving powerful drums by Charlie Cooper and second guitar, swelling and crashing against the walls of this veritable powerhouse provided by Paul Connop.

The band was formed with a need to entertain, a need to fill a hole,
a need to brink back some of the passion in music!
BURN DOWN RYDELL have been described as “U.S sounding EMO” with “Hooks to DIE for”

With numerous radio sessions under their belt, and Amazing Radio naming their single “FIGHT” (featuring Fred Mascherino – Taking Back Sunday) one of the “top tracks of 2014” along side Marmozets and Royal Blood, these guys are a relentless and unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

Imagine drowning in a sea of deep rhythms and crunching guitars, never sure what the next wave will bring…..

AUTOPSY BOYS

AUTOPSY BOYSS

Lee Brunskjill-Vox/Synths/Beats
Gary Hargreaves-Bass.
Alan Laird- Guitar.

Autopsy Boys are a UK band formed in Leeds, West Yorkshire in late 2011. They are best known for fusing post/hardcore punk with 80s synth pop. They have been labelled by various online and magazine reviewers as ‘disco for psychopaths’, a slogan they gladly accepted, and later adopted as their own.

The original members of the Autopsy Boys, Lee Brunskjill and Gary Hargreaves, began making music together in 2006, as a post punk outfit using drum machines, synthesizers and the occasional guitar. The band became notorious for their tongue in cheek lyrical content, the core references often being 80’s TV, horror movies, gaming and marijuana. The band’s sound began to evolve beyond its early roots which were often compared to Big Black, and saw the music drifting towards a more truculent punk rock sound, influenced by bands like The Dwarves, Germs, TSOL, Freeze and many more.

In September 2011, whilst drinking in a bar, the 2 were asked to open ‘BEEFSTOCK IV’, a local hard-core punk and heavy metal all day event to which they agreed. A few weeks later, after seeing posters featuring them on the bill, they decided to recruit 3 friends for what was originally intended to be a one off performance. The addition of Alan Laird on guitar and Sam Shelton on drums saw the band inevitably change its direction once again. By this time they had dropped most of their early post punk sensibilities and morphed into a hardcore punk outfit, whilst still using various synthesizers and samplers to add a genuine eerie 80s horror-esque sound.

4th STREET TRAFFIC

4TH STREET TRAFFICC

Alastair Britton – Lead Vocals & Guitar.
Phil Spokes – Lead Guitar & Vocals.
Morgan Evans – Drums.
Sam Wright – Bass Guitar & Vocals.

Formed in 2001 4th Street Traffic has had a true apprenticeship in the unsigned music industry, where most bands have long lost the belief in their dream, 4th street slogged it out and the hunger has grown stronger.
The release of the Début album “Wake Up Call” sold a massive 3000 hard copies to a fan base that grew overnight, with this support and overwhelming reaction the path was set for a great future, following the release the band set a 15 date uk tour and were creating a buzz. Local radio station Red Dragon FM (Now Capital FM) saw something exciting and invited the band to perform “Party In The Park” 2005 in front of a crowd of 25,000.

After a string of EP releases they created a second Album titled “Kick the habit” at Long Wave Studios, with producer Romesh Dodangoda, who had produced for Manic Street Preachers, Kids in Glass houses, Funeral for a Friend, Twin Atlantic among many other great bands. It was the game changer, this album was picked up by Kelly Jones and Richard Jones of Stereophonics which lead to the band being invited to open up the Summer In The City concert in Cardiff City Stadium to a sell out of 30,000.

Kick the Habit went on to sell well in excess of 6000 copies in hard copies and online downloads, it continues to sell strong to this day and the success of this year alone shot the bands profile up dramatically. With an incredible foundation in place the bands status grew and they became more popular with promoters across the board making the call work with them, the support slots came rolling in with some fantastic headliners such as Electric Six, Toploader, The Darkness, Mike and the Mechanics, The Stranglers, 10CC, Dodgy, We Are Scientists, Scouting For Girls, The Felling, The Enemy and list goes on.

Late 2013/2014 after literally a year of solid grind to fund studio time the band went back to Long Wave Studio to finish off the tracks for the 3rd Album “Claim To Fame” prior to this 3 singles were released off the album “Long Way Round” “Bitter Sweet” and “Golden Girl” all having a fanatic response. The months following have been totally dedicated to touring, hitting the festival circuit and promoting as much as physically possible.

Make no mistake 4th Street are one of the Hardest working and most dedicated bands out there, with a work ethic to rival the biggest names on the planet, passionate, persistent but patient, they will never give up.
